Joe Guinan is related and is the last living heir to the world famous Texas Guinan, known to the public from the Motion Picture “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas” starring Dolly Parton as Texas Guinan and Sylvester Stallone who had just finished winning the Oscar for Rocky. Texas Guinan was the legend that inspired Mae West, Anita Baker and Ben Siegel to form casinos in Las Vegas, Nevada. In 1991 Joe Guinan was offered $150,000 to sign off his lifetime endorsement licensing ownership rights as the true heir of Texas Guinan. Joe Guinan turned down the offer and to this day owns the rights.

Joe Guinan loves to paint original oil portraits of beautiful women and celebrities. In fact you can find one of joe Guinan’s original portraits of Burt Reynolds in Jupiter, Florida at the Burt Reynolds Dining Theatre. Joe was only 18 years old when he painted Burt Reynolds.
